Mission Statement: To provide social services to honorably discharged veterans of the United States Armed Forces, including employment services, transitional housing,  wound care, mental health and other services through coordination with other agencies in the delivery of the these services. A hand up not a hand out.

History:  The Triad Stand Down started in 2005 with the first held in Charlotte, North Carolina. In 2006 the Triad Stand Down came to Greensboro and this year will be the sixth held in Greensboro. We serve all of the counties in the Triad area: Alamance, Forsyth, Rockingham, Guilford, Randolph, and all counties to Charlotte. We have seen a steady increase of at least 40% each year from 2006-2011.
