The Stand Down accepts clothing and personal hygiene items that will benefit these Veterans.
Please Note: We do not accept general unsorted items. We prefer all clothing to be new, however, if the items have been cleaned and do not require service we will accept them. We can only accept new Socks and new Underwear.
Clothing Items May include:
- Coats
- Jackets
- Sweat Shirts
- Blue Jeans
- SOCKS!
Please Note: We only accept new personal hygiene items in unopened, original packaging.
Personal Hygiene:
- Safety Razors
- Shaving products
- Soap
- Tooth Brushes
- Tooth Paste
- Hair Brushes and Combs
- Grooming Kits
- Overnight Kits
Food:
We accept food items that meet ALL of the following requirements:
- Must be a food item that has a long shelf life in it's original packaging.
- Must be individual servings.
- Must be from a well know food packaging company.
Please remember homeless does mean that these veterans do not have a home to stockpile bulk items; this is why our focus is on their mobility. If you have additional items that you would like to donate please contact a homeless shelter in your area and thank you for your help from the heart of all Veterans, for your interest.
