Dear Community Partners,
Volunteers are needed to assist with Homeless Stand Down 2012. This event will be held on Friday, September 28, 2012 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Westover Church, 505 Muirs Chapel Road, Greensboro, NC .
The Homeless Stand Down is a community wide event that seeks to link homeless individuals with on-site services. The Stand Down provides the homeless with access to social service providers, treatment programs, clothing assistance and various other services.
Volunteers are needed to assist with set-up on Thursday, September 27, 2012 as well as with registration, clothing give away and clean up on the day of the Stand Down, Friday, Sept. 28.
We need your participation to make this event a success and to assist the homeless within our community.
